6 - marissa, yes it was written that way. I made NO mods b/c I was test-knitting it for the designer, so I had to do it exactly as written in order to make sure the pattern worked. One of the changes that she & I made as I worked on it was to make the straps a little wider in the XL size b/c those of us who wear an XL tend to have bras with wider straps, so we need more coverage. ;-D (Comment this)
