101 in 1001

Have you heard about the 101 Things in 1001 Days project that’s going around the blogosphere?  Well, I decided to jump on the bandwagon.  For easier reference, I’ve set up another blog specifically for posting my list of tasks and my progress on them over here (also in my sidebar).  So far, I only have 80 tasks on my list, but I’ve still got 998 days left, so I’m sure I can fill in those other spots before January 2011.

Picture Day at School

Yesterday was the spring Picture Day at school, when the kids get to wear something other than their uniform if they like. Pretty interesting to see the difference in what they chose to wear.  (Don’t worry about Thing One; she just didn’t feel like getting her picture taken.)

Awwww….

This is the baby bonnet by Evelyn Clark, found in Vogue Knitting on the Go’s Baby Knits Two.  I know that using a solid-colored yarn would have shown off the lace to better advantage, but I was just dying to use this gorgeous TM Sock yarn from Lu, which I’ve had for ages. 

My trusty model, Baby Kelly, is about the size of a newborn baby.  The size of the bonnet is 3 - 6 months.
