Chrispy and Dave are in town briefly, so we met up this morning at ImagiKnit, then had lunch. It was great to meet her in real life (IRL) after all our emails and phone calls when I was test-knitting Alisa for her. If Hubby & I ever make it up to his old stomping grounds, the Portland area, then maybe Chrispy can show me ’round the yarn shops up there. This was a great way to spend a big chunk of my birthday. Thanks, guys!
P.S. NO, I did NOT buy ANYTHING at ImagiKnit. I did, however, pop down the block to Jeffrey’s and pick up some dog food for Jenna….
I know the basic rule of thumb is usually “Don’t get your wife a gift with a motor or a cord unless it’s a car”, but I was SO happy about this. The older Roombas broke down a lot and required a lot of maintenance b/c of some flaws in the design. How do I know? We’ve killed three. This one is MUCH better. I like it so much that it’s running right now.
THANKS, BABE!
Girl on cell phone: Guess what?! I’m not bi-polar, and I’m not manic!
