Knitting Update
Meanwhile, I had to finish this (i.e. weave in the ends) for Baby Reza’s welcome party (see catching up post). It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I definitely wouldn’t make a pinwheel blankie in stripes again b/c it looks like a giant target. I’d make a pinwheel blankie, and I’d make a blanket in these colors, but I wouldn’t do the two together.

Awwwwwww, Shucks…..
Awwww, thanks, Dani, for nominating me for the “I Love Your Blog Award”.
Here’s how it works, folks:
1. Please put the award on your blog.
2. Add a link to the person who awarded you.
3. You must nominate at least four fellow bloggers for this award.
4. Add links to the recipients.
5. Leave a comment so the recipients know they have received an award.
SO, here are my nominees in no logical order. These are NOT all knitting blogs, believe it or not, and they are a small fraction of the blogs I read on a regular basis:
- David of Living Loud
- Lynne of I Was Knit Together in My Mother’s Womb
- Kimmie of Kimmie And The Sprouts
- Tracey of WoolWindings
I *WOULD HAVE* nominated Hubby’s blog out of wifely devotion, but he never updates any more. Some lame excuse about this thing called a job. WhatEVER…
Which Book Are YOU???

You’re Ulysses!
by James Joyce
Most people are convinced that you don’t make any sense, but compared to what else you could say, what you’re saying now makes tons of sense. What people do understand about you is your vulgarity, which has convinced people that you are at once brilliant and repugnant. Meanwhile you are content to wander around aimlessly, taking in the sights and sounds of the city. What you see is vast, almost limitless, and brings you additional fame. When no one is looking, you dream of being a Greek folk hero.
Take the Book Quiz at the Blue Pyramid.
OK, this cracked me up when I saw how it classified me. Why? I’ll give you ONE guess what the subject of my senior thesis in college was….

Thing Two: Is that love, or just kissing?
Thing One: Love.
Me (at the same time as T1): Just kissing.

Pregnancy And Infant Loss Awareness Month
October is Pregnancy And Infant Loss Awareness Month. I’ve added links to the sidebar with information, support groups, special mementoes you can buy, etc. I’ll feature different information throughout the month. In the meantime, say a special prayer for those who’ve lost their babies. Since people here in America shy away from the topic of death - especially the death of a child - I can guarantee you that you know more people who’ve miscarried, had a stillbirth, or lost a newborn than you think you do….
