When Good Knitting Projects Go Bad…

Drumroll, Please
It’s done! I finished The Project That Ate My Life on Monday!
All that’s left now is to oh-so-carefully wash and dry it (my neighbor has a front-loading washer), then ship it off to [mumble, mumble]. This, my friends, is how I’ve had time to finish up UFO’s, etc.
Next up?
- Finishing UFO’s (YES, Bobbi, including THAT.)
- Generating inventory for my booth at the school Holiday Boutique
- Christmas knitting
Whew! I’m SOOO glad to have that monkey off my back…
Finished Projects
Candy corn buttons and Baby Jonathan himself:

(I tell ya, Christine’s either very brave or crazy. Her other kids are 18 and 12, and she just just had Jonathan a month ago. YIKES!)
Baby blanket which had been lurking in a corner for an embarrassingly long time. I had gotten almost 3/4 done with the edging, then ran out of yarn. In disgust, I tossed it aside and ignored it. Today, I picked it back up, ripped out the eding and one more round, then did a quickie crocheted edging, et voila!
This was just one of about eight UFO’s I had sitting around. So, one down, seven to go — FINISH IT OR FROG IT!
New Haircut
And YES, those ARE new glasses, thank you very much for asking. NOT A SINGLE PERSON has noticed them, and it’s been over a week. Even Hubby didn’t notice; I told him two days later. Feh.
