April, it took me aback at first, but then I realized she must have read something. Turns out, she was reading Exodus and had just read this:
Exodus 4:25 (New International Version)
25 But Zipporah took a flint knife, cut off her son’s foreskin and touched {Moses’} feet with it. [a] “Surely you are a bridegroom of blood to me,” she said.
I just told her (Thing One) the truth, at which she pretended to throw up. Thing Two remembered watching “The Nativity Story” and the part where Joseph & Mary take eight-day-old Baby Jesus to get circumcised, so she said, “Is it the part where they make the cut with a knife on the boy part?” Um, yes. ;-D
GREAT day: CAL won The Big Game, Leah sent me a skein of "Creative Inspiration" for my bday, and the kids are spending the night away. Woot!

I'm grateful for flannel sheets on a cold morning, extra-strength Excedrin, and Peet's Major Dickason's Blend...
