If we’d had any doubt that puberty was happening to Thing One, today’s arrival dispelled those doubts. BEHOLD, THE FIRST ZIT:
Nine and half. She’s nine and a half years old, people. Since when do people get zits at nine and a half? This scares me for her future. She’s always been so pretty; I’d hate for her to be a pizza-face in high school….

You call that a zit ! Gee I wish when I was growing up my zits were that small
It can be very hard when your child ends up with acne. I know from dealing with Steven haveing it. We finally ended up buying Proactive and it really works well when he uses it properly. Sarah will always be beautiful no matter what.
Adri, yes it’s a small zit, but it’s a zit, and she’s only NINE AND A HALF! Thanks for telling me about the Proactive; I’ll keep it in the back of my mind for the future. It really has worked well for Steven - I’ve noticed that his acne’s a lot better.
Poor Thing One! Zits are the pits (rhyme intended). It’s so nice when puberty is over and they calm down, but then much later in life you find that zits also accompany menopause! Not fair!!
