Valentine’s Day
Well, Thing Two managed to get better in time, so we were able to keep our babysitter and our dinner reservations and go out after all. Yippee!
Even though we were going out, I still made a nice dinner b/c I figured if Jen was spending her Valentine’s night babysitting and not on a date or something, she should at least get a nice meal out of it:
Hubby & I tried out a new-to-us sushi place, then…uh…um…killed some time before we came home. After Jen left, we watched Lost and that dumb we-watch-it-because-it’s-on-after-Lost show, Eli Stone, then crashed out.
We also gave Jen some Hershey’s kisses and a quick Zigzag Scarf out of Cascade Jewel.
A bit of the remaining Jewel became a little rose brooch for my friend Erica, who needed a Valentine pick-me-up:
