Grandma!
Hubby & the Things got to hang out w/Grandma today b/c she's babysitting Baby Cousins. I, however, crashed on the couch most of the day (I *did* however do some laundry).

Even up through Thursday, we were saying It would take a miracle, but the rain stopped, the sun came out, people were on time, the photographer didn't lag, everything came together, and Marc and Mary had the wedding of their dreams on Saturday, complete with pictures at the Palace of the Legion of Honor. Here are a couple of pictures Bobbi got in between cracking the whip to get people to the right places at the right times...
Edited 9/23: More photos added to the Flickr set, pictures from Auntie and Auntie Adriana. Pictures from Nana coming soon.
Well, for the life of me I can't seem to get the Flickr badge to show up correctly when I put it in a post, only when I put it in the sidebar, soooo...to see photos from today's festivities, please click on the Flickr badge that's just below the "Erica's Blog" button in the right-hand sidebar.
Here, however, are some movies:
Happy Ninth Birthday, Thing One!
(More later, after the party, etc.)
As you can see, Thing One's Cabo Hoodie mutated as I was knitting it and became the Cabo Not-A-Hoodie. ;-D She loves it.
Conclusions:
Sorry I haven't been posting. I'll be back more soon. We've been helping with a wedding, I've been getting ready for Thing One's birthday (HOW did she get to be NINE?), and, well, mostly I've been here:
If you're on and want to add me to your friends, I'm ericah64 (same on Flickr, too). See you there! (Next week, I'm going to photograph my stash. Wheeee! I sure hope my pictures get moved over from Yahoo! photos to Flickr soon...)
I had a weak moment early last week and bid on this yarn on eBay from Yarnsmiths and ended up winning the auction. It finally arrived today. Hand-dyed superwash merino fingering weight, 450 yards for...$12.50 plus shipping. Yippee! The colorway is called Caribbean; innit purty?
