There was a widely bruited-about statistic reported last week, stating that 1 in 4 Americans did not read a single book last year. Clearly, we don’t fall into that category, but . . . how many of our friends do? Do you have friends/family who read as much as you do? Or are you the only person you know who has a serious reading habit?
Hmmmnnnn…Well, my parents read as much as I do or more. I know my friend Lisa does, too. Bobcat reads, but I don’t know how much. Hubby almost never reads for pleasure; when he’s home, he’d rather spend time with us or watch his TV shows on DVD on the laptop in bed. I don’t think my SIL’s and BIL’s read very many books. I guess it’s a mixed bag.

I don’t like to read but Diane is actually in a book club that she seems to like. Rick does not read for pleasure but he actually reads a lot when he gets really interested in learning about something. Right now he is reading about how to run a CA business.
