The Purge Has Begun!
EDITED TO ADD: BTW, what you see in these pictures only represents the six or eight boxes of confiscated stuff from the attic, plus about 3/4 of Thing Two’s room. We haven’t even touched Thing One’s room yet. Not all those boxes are full, though; some only have a few items in them.

kat, the reason for the purge is that they have waaaay too much stuff, especially considering the small size of their rooms (*especially* Thing Two’s tiny room). The timing of it is b/c the SSF Citywide Garage Sale is on the 9/8, and Thing One’s bday is on 9/22. We’re taking EVERYTHING oug of their rooms except their furniture, sorting it into appropriate boxes, then deciding what’s a) keep, b) sell in the garage sale, c) throw away. They get to keep the money from anything of theirs that sells at the garage sale. I’m going to push for 2 “garage sale” items for every 1 “keep” item (except books).
