Today’s News

I rarely comment on the news, but there are a couple of items in today’s news about which I feel compelled to speak.  If you disagree with me, that’s fine; it’s my blog, not yours, and you don’t have to agree.

John Cuouey — The Christian part of my heart tells me that no human has the right to decide who lives or dies.  The Mama Bear part of me, however, says that this guy should fry for what he did to that poor little nine-year-old girl.

Lisa Nowak — Whine, whine, whine!  Woman, don’t be so stupid!  If you weren’t willing to endure the consequences, you shouldn’t have committed the crime.  Punishment isn’t supposed to be pleasant.  You’re a member of our military, which means you’re supposed to have honor and courage and be able to endure hardship.  Surely you can handle the inconvenience of a stupid GPS ankle bracelet.  If you don’t like the expense, then fire your media consultant.  Puhleeze!
