For some reason, they displayed my blanket with the WRONG side showing. Isn’t that silly? Oh, well. It was totally priceless. I was over at a different display case, looking at winning items by some of my friends from my knitting group, when Thing One yelled out for all the world to hear, MOM, you got a PRIZE! As he took the pictures, Hubby puddled up b/c he was so proud, but I think that’s supposed to be a secret….
Julie, Diane, Emily, and Sandy from our group also got awards. Sandy stole the show with her lace - 1st place for her small piece, 1st place and Best in Show for her large piece, and 1st place and Special Award for her shawl. Wow.
