Update
We arrived in Cabo San Lucas early this morning. We fly out at 5:30 tomorrow. Quick update here:
Trip from Puerto Vallarta to Cabo was…um…well…motor-powered, NOT wind-powered. I now really understand what people mean when they say “The sea was like glass”. Uh, yeah.
I’ll do a real update on Monday after we get home (with pictures!), but here is an updated list of the “prolific wildlife” we encountered on this trip:
- dolphins
- sea turtles
- one seal
- flying fish….and:
ORCAS! Yupp, we’ve got photos and videos of the two killer whales we encountered yesterday. Cool doesn’t even get it. I will never look at Shamu, etc. the same way again….

Oh I didn’t know you were posting on the trip…anyway how cool is it to see whales like that?! i once had a pilot whale surface not 20 feet from our boat on the way to monterey, absolutly amazing!
