Yee-Ha!…Or was that…UGH!

YEE-HA!  Today was “Western Day” at the Things’ school.  The kids were so cute!  All the little girls were cute in their braids, prairie skirts, etc.  One of the cutest kids in Thing Two’s class was a little Mexican boy who looked like a dressed-up caballero in his boots, jeans, satiny guayabera, and cowboy hat.  I was SO wishing I could take pictures b/c they all looked so good.

UGH.  Remember that hand/foot/mouth notice that came home?  Well, I just noticed that Thing Two felt warm, and what did I find but a familiar-looking blister on her hand.  Guess the Things & I aren’t going to Camron’s bday party tomorrow, after all.  Bummer.  Luckily, it’s rare for an adult to get it, so we don’t have to cancel our Mother’s Day dinner.  Oh, well.

P.S. I finished the Lacy Round Dishcloth.  Then, I cranked out a Japanese Cherry Blossom one (big but really fast b/c it’s so simple).  I only need to make one more to have the “week of dishcloths” I need for that wedding gift.  I’ll probably do this one.
