Baby Booties
Baby gift for Leslie from church whose baby Gabriel is due soon. The variegated blue is some of the leftover Jelly Beenz (yes, I’m still working on it!), and the solid blue is some 100% cotton I grabbed from the sale pile @ the LYS. Yes, I fell off the wagon and bought yarn. Ooops. At least it was only $2.95.
The tube socks are from some of the leftover SensuWool. Cute, eh? Uh, oh. Tube socks. This doesn’t make me a sock-knitter, does it? I don’t think they really count b/c the toe is just done by decreasing down to 12 sts, then pulling the yarn through. That doesn’t count as a real sock toe, right? Right?
I want to make a couple of hats to add to this, then I’ll give it to her. The shower was today, but I didn’t plan to go b/c I haven’t been strong enough lately emotionally to handle going to a baby shower for a baby boy. If I can get the hats done today, I’ll give it all to her tomorrow at church.
