No Sheep For You!

I got to drool on this at the LYS yesterday.  It took every bit of self-control I had to keep myself from buying it.  (I’m SO wishing it were my birthday soon so someone would get it for me!)

Wendy and Wendy both have patterns in here.  Funny, The Bag is made from exactly the colors of AllHemp6 that Wendy W. gave me “from her stash to mine” this summer @ her house.  Coincidence or not?  I think not; what she gave me was probably the extra from her making the sample.

I like so many of the patterns in here that I know it will be worth the money for me to have it (like I would even consider NOT buying it with both Wendies having patterns in here!).  For now, however, please, stop me before I spend the money!

Done!

FINALLY sat down on Tuesday and did all the seaming and weaving in of ends on this.  It had a bath yesterday, and now it’s ready to head off to Watsonville for Baby A.J.  Haven’t heard if he’s been born yet, but I assume he has.

Since this sat awaiting finishing for a few weeks, can this count as my February resurrected UFO?  I did finish it in February….

What Should I Become?

This is the remainder of the cone of boucle I used for Dominique’s quickie scarf on Saturday (the pencil is for scale).  As I wound it up, I just couldn’t figure out what it wanted to be, but I want to knit it up.  Any suggestions, ya’ll?

Overheard

Mommy, you have a bunch of wrinkles on your eyes.

[low chuckle]

No, really, you do.  It’s because you’re getting old, man.  [big grin]

Gee, thanks a LOT, Thing Two.

I feel so smart!

Thing One’s Drive-Thru.  Why do I feel smart?  Check out them there sleeves — both of them on the SAME two circ’s, so I’m truly knitting them both at the same time.  Now, in the spirit of full disclosure, I didn’t start them together like that.  I did them up to a few rows past the ribbing, then put ‘em on the same circ’s.  I feel so smart for figuring out how to do them both like that.  Now, if I could just figure out how to start them both like that, I’d really feel smart…Bueller?…Bueller?…Anybody?

Hey, Hey, Hey — Good-Bye!

This was supposed to be for Gabriel, Leslie’s baby-to-be, but the petrobarf is getting to me, and I hate it, so a-frogging I will go…
