Scary Wednesday Night
Thing Two. Up to go potty. Barking cough. Weird sounds. Trouble getting air. Dash to hospital in my robe, slippers, and glasses (and naught else!). Steroid. Cool mist treatment. Home at 1:00 a.m. Croup.
She’s doing a lot better now, but since croup’s caused by a virus and is contagious, the doc said to keep her away from other kids for three days or so. Soooo, no school yesterday or today.

Actually, according to the “It’s OK to buy yarn for a specifically-requested gift” caveat, I didn’t even violate my Knit From Your Stash vows. I *EVEN* managed to buy just the yarn and some split markers, NOT justifying buying extra stuff to get my total up to $45 so I could get the free shipping b/c that would have meant spending an extra $15, not the $7 for shipping. Go, me!
