One Down, One to Go…
Cranked this out in a couple of hours last night. It’s one of the aforementioned wristwarmers/fingerless mitts for our fave babysitter, Angela. I used a spare ball of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran leftover from one of MEY’s commissions (the Roman Stripe scarf for her MIL). The pattern is an “unpattern” or more of a formula (a la EZ) from Wendy Bernard. Considering the source, I think of them as…Mitts and Tonic!
[Aside to the knitters out there: I "get" the whole knitting in the round on two circ's thing after just a little bit of time w/the Cat Bordhi book Zib gave me. HOWEVER, what I can't wrap my brain around is how to knit two items (socks, mitts, sleeves, whatever) on two circ's at the same time. For me, this is the whole entire reason for knitting on two circ's -- to knit both at the same time, thus finishing them both at the same time and having them exactly the same, instead of one being a round or two longer than the other, etc. Anybody got any tips? Any locals like Kat wanna volunteer to show me how?]
