Good-bye, Christmas!

After the party at Paul & Carol’s on New Year’s Day, we packed up all the Christmas stuff.  This stuff NOW sits in front of the living room window, along with some luggage and other stuff that needs to migrate back up to the attic.

When Hubby went up into the attic to bring down the empty boxes for the Christmas stuff, he found this:

Thing is, the Disney Christmas stuff was mixed in with the other tree ornaments.  Sooo, what WAS in this box tucked away amongst the Christmas decorations?  Hmmmm….

Yarrrrn!!!!  Later that night, if you’d been hiding out in our house, you would have overheard this conversation:

Honey, I’m still just SO excited that you found that yarn in the attic!

Why?

Well, some of it was yarn that I thought I’d given away, and some was yarn I’d wanted to use and couldn’t find and wondered “Whatever happened to that…”

Yeah, but it all looked like acrylic to me.

?! [Stunned pause as Erica realizes that Hubby can now tell junk yarn from good yarn.]  Well, yes, some of it IS acrylic, but that’s just the stuff on TOP.  There’s some good stuff underNEATH…
