Now that this one is blocking, I’m DONE w/MEY’s commissions. Don’t mind that bit of scoliosis it seems to have; it won’t last. That’s what happens when you’re not blocking to a grid, just a certain width.
Particulars: Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran, US 10’s, 10 1/2 inches wide and a gazillion long (basically the whole length of our queen-sized bed). Roman Stripe stitch a la Barbara Walker. For MEY’s MIL. The others I steam blocked, but this one I gave a bath in vinegar water b/c of the awful dye transfer (I now have blue bamboo interchangeables in size 10). I’m SOOO glad I didn’t use that last ball of Cashmerino, as it’s plenty long now.
