Whatever Fits
- Getting used to bifocals — transitions, no less — is really hard. It’s hard to figure out if I should be moving my head or my eyes, where to wear the frames on my nose, etc.
- Hubby fixed the pipe. It was still leaking a tiny bit, so he brought home the BIG wrench from work and tightened it. That oughta do it.
- Leslie in Springfield is coming to visit not this weekend but next, along with her two daughters. Very exciting! I haven’t seen her since she moved back East, oh….19 years ago. She was the very first friend I made in college; we met at a rape prevention meeting in our dorm the very first week of school, and were fast friends immediately (though she later claimed Nana paid her to be my friend, and she would tell me when Nana was behind on her payments).
- What was Hubby’s response to that weird video? So, Erica, what did you learn from that? Pppllllttt!!! He didn’t recognize the filmmaker in the picture. When I pointed out who it was, he agreed that that made the movie even stranger. So, any more guesses as to what the filmmaker does for his “day job”? Trust me, it’s pretty far removed from making bizarro films like that. Some of my lurkers might get it. C’mon, MEY, LaSchaunda, Fan of ’80s, Schmatalie. I’ll bet you’d recognize him right off the bat! If Asphanaut ever reads this, I’m SURE he’d know, as would Tom & Denise or Rob & Pam. I tell ya, I gotta wonder what this guy’s boss thinks of his making movies like this. Trust me, his “day job” is such, and his boss is such, that his boss DEFINITELY knows he’s doing this. Just too weird.
Gotta go bake some stuff for the school bake sale/pumpkin patch/costume sale/raffle tomorrow….’Nette, I forget — you gonna be there on Friday?
