Mixed Bag
Well, today’s one of those mixed bags:
- Thing Two has an ear infection, so I was waiting outside the pediatrician’s office at 8:00 this morning when they opened the door (unshowered & icky b/c I’d overslept).
- Got a weird headache.
- Tired b/c I didn’t sleep well.
- Discovered a bad leak under the kitchen sink (into the oh-so-lovely weirdo cabinets). [See below.]
- BUT I got a call from the eye doctor saying that my cool red bifocals are ready, just in time for the new picture of our Tuesday night knitting group (gotta remember my camera and the pink uterus!).
Type at you later. Now that the groceries have been delivered, I gotta go get a shower so I can go get the glasses and Thing Two.
See that chunk of silvery metal atop the towel in the second picture? That’s the chunk of the pipe that fell out when I gently touched the spot that was dripping. Hubby got it fixed pretty easily — just took out the bad piece of pipe, brought it with him to Lowe’s, got a replacement & installed it.
