  1. SPREADING = what my knitting mess seems to be doing.  It used to just be in the living room next to the glider.  Now it’s also in the bedroom next to the LA-Z-BOY.
  2. SEVERAL SMELLY SCIENCE ‘SPERIMENTS.  Even after I cleaned them all out, it still smelled in here.  Not good.
  3. SILLY.
  4. SHHHH!  SECRET SWEETS.

100 Things About Me, Part the Next

26.  In high school, I only completed one of the many college applications I started.  Thank God, I got in!  (Go Bears!)

27.  When I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, I chased down Calvin Hill in the DFW airport so I could shake his hand.

28.  I’ve never been to
New York, but I have been to Singapore, Malaysia, La Bella Sicilia, Toscana e Roma (plus the obligatory trips to Baja California).

29.  I believe life begins the moment that sperm hits the egg.  This makes for some heated arguments about in vitro fertilization, etc.

30.  I have a “reverse” café au lait spot on my right calf – a white spot that shows up when I get tan.

31.  When I was a kid, I was allergic to eggs, milk, beef, and citrus fruit (my poor mom!).

32.  As a kid, I had a really cool Batgirl costume that my mom made for me.

33.  I had blonde hair and blue eyes when I was born.

34.  I can’t light paper matches.

35.  I can’t drive a stick-shift car.

36.  I fell off a raft in a country club pool when I was 7 and nearly drowned.  My mom had to peel me off the bottom of the pool.  Before that time, I was on a swim team.  After that incident, I had to re-learn how to swim and was never the same again.

37.  For several years, I attended the same private school that “Bobby Brady” (Michael Lookinland) did.  When he was in 12th grade, I was in 8th grade.

38.  When I was in 7th grade, I wet my pants on the sidewalk in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles (near UCLA) on a school field trip, simply b/c I was too embarrassed to ask where the bathroom was.

39.  When I was 3, I was bitten in the face by a Pekingese.
