Disney Day Four, Part One
I’ll keep this brief b/c I feel like I’ve caught the cold/allergy thing the girls have. I’ve been relaxing in the room for a few hours now.
Hubby, Thing One & I went in for early entry today. Angela, Thing Two & Andrei slept in. We had a blast. Finally, we got to ride the Peter Pan ride. Wow! No wonder the line’s always so long for that one! Dumbo ride (not me, just them). Tea Cups. Thunder Mountain Railroad. Splash Mountain - TWICE. We actually shelled out the $$ for the photo of us on that one b/c we were the only ones in our log, and it came out so well. Thing One’s eyes are closed, I’m doing a “Yippee” shout, and Hubby’s grinning with his hands up in the air. Haunted Mansion (Thing One didn’t like it; she thought it was too scary). Winnie the Pooh. Tarzan’s Treehouse (not me; once was enough!).
By the time Angela & the little kids made it into the park, I was really not feeling well, so I bought some post cards & a photo album for our Disney pics (which we’ll pick up at Costco in FL; gotta love that!), and tried to come back to the room. They were cleaning both of them. Of course. Back downstairs for a salad & Diet Coke. Still cleaning our room, so I lay down on the Things’ bed and started “flicking”. That’s where the found me. Nap while they all went to the pool. They’re all back at California Adventure now. We have dinner reservations for all of us at a restaurant in New Orleans Square (not Blue Bayou; they were book up through tomorrow) later. Hopefully, we can linger over dinner long enough to watch Fantasmic from there (and be able to see it).
I’m gonna go hit the shop and try to get some throat drops. We’re off to Texas and Grandma Lorna in the morning. Well, we leave HERE in the morning. Hubby couldn’t get a straight flight there for love or money, so we have to - get this - fly to Atlanta, have a short layover, then fly BACK to McAllen Field in TX. Talk about dumb! Oh, well….
The few pics from today (I forgot to give Hubby the camera) are here.
