Edited later to add: PUKE: Last night, I heard Jenna sneak into Thing One’s room to sleep on her bed with her. Didn’t think about it too much b/c I know Thing One likes it and doesn’t mind having dog hair in her bed (eeeuuuwwww!). This morning, however, we heard distressed cries coming from Thing One’s room. Why was she so upset? Jenna had puked on her bed, and some of it got on the book Thing One had left on the bed. Hubby let Jenna outside and discovered that she had eaten some compost. Uh, yeah. That would make ME puke, too. She had dug under the bin, then pushed the bin aside. I hope she learned from this, but I doubt it.
CLARIFICATION: OK, here’s how I got the cellulitis. It’s not very exciting.
On Sunday, thanks to the warm weather, I wore some shoes I hadn’t worn in a long time. I ended up getting a blister on one toe of each foot. The blister on my right pinky toe ripped open. Said blister got infected somehow, et voila — cellulitis/blood poisoning. I wonder if the infection came from when Jenna licked my bare foot on Monday?
ABCalong: To be honest, I must confess that Hubby gets the credit for coming up with that idea. We were brainstorming on the way home from Poppa & Nana’s house on Sunday night. Other words we considered were:
- icky
- inspiring/inspiration
- names that started w/I (Mrs. I the school principal, etc.)
- i-llegal i-mmigrants
- ice
THANK YOU: Thank you to Lu for the fabulous yarn! The Peace Fleece is great, but the bonus hank of her handpainted superwash 100% merino wool fingering weight yarn is WONDERFUL. I can’t wait to use it! I’ll have some Yarrrn Pr0n later, if I can figure out how to get some interesting pictures while I have my foot up.
