Who let the seal in the bed?
Yupp. When Thing Two got up this morning & climbed in bed with us, she had a barking cough. Ugh. So, no “Miss Claudia class” for her today. She’s currently lounging on the couch with a blankie, watching “Barney” (the “no TV till after dinner” rule goes out the window when someone is sick). She’s pretty tired, so she’ll probably go to sleep soon.
Sun. SUN. We’ve had sun since yesterday afternoon. Woo hoo! If you don’t live in this area, you might not realize what a big deal this is. I believe we had 25 days of rain in March. 25 out of 31. That’s a lot. Anyhow, today we have sun. Who knows what tomorrow will bring, but today, it’s sun.
Called Dani today, and the poor girl has the crud pretty bad. Please drop by her blog and send her some “get well” wishes.
Speaking of Dani…what’s with all the psycho exes? Turns out her phone number’s unlisted b/c she’s got a psycho ex. Knitting Magic Girl has an anonymous blog b/c she’s got a psycho ex who harrasses her. Bobcat’s got a psycho ex from 20+ years ago who doesn’t contact her, but she still has the fear way in the back of her mind (dude did prison time for how their marriage ended). My friend Melissa used to get stalked by her ex. Very weird stuff!
Just for the record: I love my Roomba and my Scooba! I can be masking my face, blogging, vaccuuming, mopping, and doing laundry all at the same time. Gotta love being able to have fun and do your “job” at the same time!
Oh, and keep your eye on The Garter Belt. Zib sent me a teaser yesterday, and there’s something really cool coming (well, of COURSE it would be really cool; everything else on there is!)….
Finally got the “professional” photos from Thing One’s Nutcracker performance back in December, and BOY, were we disappointed. The color was off (her pink tights looked green!), and they were fuzzy. Professional? Mmmm, I think not. MY pictures were better than that. SO glad I only got two 5×7’s.
Picture day at school today. Determined not to overbuy as I usually do. This time, I’m only getting the class picture (gotta get that; I still have all of mine!) and enough wallets to send to the relatives. That’s about it.
