Button Day / SuperKid Day
Today was the annual “Button Day” at school and the monthly “SuperKids” day. As you can see, though it was 55 degrees out this morning, Thing One insisted on dressing for the frozen tundra. Can you see all her buttons on the lanyard? The best ones, of course, were the one of Paul and the one from Uncle Rick’s 40th birthday party. Turns out, Thing One was the girl SuperKid from her class this month. Yippee! It was really cool b/c last night, totally unprompted by us, she prayed that even if she wasn’t chosen, she’d be happy and proud for the kid who was. What a great attitude!
