Thanks to the corner piece we weren’t able to put into Thing One’s room b/c of the “mildew corner” and hubby’s new pot rack, we were able to re-organize the laundry room yesterday. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain…I mean the wire racks in the middle of the room; they’re moving out to the garage tonight. I’m likin’ this…at least until such time as we can do our real remodel.
As you can see, Thing Two was less than thrilled to play model. Oh, well. She’ll get over it. If not, I’ll pay for one session of her future therapy to deal with it. So, here we have Becky’s neckwarmer and Georgia’s scarf. I think they’ll like them. Again, most 5-year-olds and 8-year-olds aren’t exactly yarn snobs.
I expect to finish the interminable multi-directional “larvae” scarf later today.
Cats, of course! These are a small fraction of Thing Two’s cats. These are just the ones who’ve already celebrated their birthdays in 2006. We have, in order, Abby, Figaro, and Poopsie (the girl Poopsie; apparently there is also a boy Poopsie). I understand that Grey and White are having birthdays tomorrow, but I’m not sure how we’ll work that out with everything else we have going on. Hubby’s been having fun learning how to use all the various settings on the camera. Abby & Figaro’s pics were taken with the lights out and the camera on manual mode with the shutter open something like 15 seconds.
