Got the yarn I ordered on Thanksgiving night with my birthday money from Grandma. Thanks, Grandma! Now, to figure out what to make.
I think that “vineyard” Shadow is just crying out to be a Clapotis or an Ella, though I don’t think I’ve ever seen one done in such a solid color. Yes, this is kind of heathered, but it’s not variegated like the yarns specified in the patterns. Hmmmmm….What say you all?
THIS is what happens when you let a four-year-old play with your camera. Ah, the beauty of digital and not having to worry about wasting expensive film! I think I deleted about 20 pictures that Thing Two took.
I swear that I did not pose these animals or take these pictures. Thing Two did it. Now, you tell me — is it me, or do these two cats look like they were caught in the act? I think the expression on Figaro’s face (the black & white boy cat) adds to it. Weird. I think I’d better keep a clooooooose eye on this kid….
P.S. Grandma, I spared you. She took about 15 pictures like this that she wanted to send to you. NO idea why except that she misses you.
