Thunderbolts & Lightning!
At almost exactly 5:30 p.m., our “chance of showers” turned into a thunderstorm. We had a brown-out right at the time of the first lightning strike. I’m a bit concerned that we might lose power, so I’m doing any electricity-necessary stuff (laundry, blogging) NOW, before it goes. We have candles at the ready. I almost hope it does go out….
I know — for ya’ll in Texas or other places, thunderstorms are a common occurrence, but here in CA, they’re a big deal. I know we’ll have fun turning out the lights and watching the storm. Wonder if I can knit by candlelight?
