Finished Cravat

05 Oct Mexicana Fun Fur Cravat Finished  OK, I finally finished the dreaded Mexicana Fun Fur Stripes scarf.  As described before, it’s double-stranded with yellow/blue, yellow/red, red/blue sections.  It’s a lot less garish than when I did it as Lion Brand planned.  It’s narrow — only 10 stitches wide.  On size 10 1/2’s, it came out dense and ended up short, more of a cravat or a kid’s scarf than a regular scarf.  I’m still not thrilled with it, but I like it a lot more than I did originally.

I have four skeins of the Fun Fur Stripes in Raiders colors.  Guess I’ll have to do the same thing with them.  I may use size 11’s, though, so the scarf comes out a bit longer.
