Wave of Light
At 7:00 pm on October 15, 2005, families around the United States will light candles in memory a precious life that has been lost too soon. Too many families grieve in silence, sometimes never coming to terms with their loss.
If you or someone you know has suffered a miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, a baby born still, the loss of a baby to SIDS, premature birth or other cause of infant death, we hope you will join us in this national tribute to create awareness of these tragic infant deaths and provide support to those that are suffering.
Recently, Congressman Tom Latham of Iowa introduced a House Resolution supporting the Goals and Ideals of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, October 15th, and calling on the President of the United States to issue a proclamation encouraging the American people to honor this special day of remembrance.
We encourage you to contact your local Congressmans Washington DC Office and ask him or her to Co-Sponsor House Resolution # 222. For more information, and to guide you in your efforts, please visit http://www.october15th.com/congress.htm.
