OK, LAST One…

What kind of flower are you?

You Are A Lily

You are a nurturer and all around natural therapist.
People see you as their rock. And they are able to depend on you.
You are a soothing influence. You can make people feel better with a few words.
Your caring has more of an impact than even you realize.

Funny, I *do* really love lilies…

Silly Quiz Time

Yes, folks, it’s Silly Quiz Time!  Click here for the “Cute Animal Quiz”.

Here are my results:

You Are A: Duckling!

The cutest of the cute, these baby ducks are often spotted in the spring following closely behind their mother. As a duckling you will grow up quickly, becoming one of the adult ducks seen commonly in ponds and streams. Playful and timid, charming and vulnerable, ducklings are nature’s very definition of innocence.

You were almost a: Lamb or a Pony
You are least like a: Squirrel or a Parakeet

Karen & Billy’s Wedding

We were honored to be invited to a beautiful wedding today.  Karen & Billy got married at the Westin St. Francis in the City.  We really felt special to have been invited b/c there were only around 75 people there, and it was very fancy.  The ceremony was in the St. Francis Suite, a beautiful wood-paneled candlelit room with Elizabethan portraits on the walls, etc.  The reception was in Victor’s Palace on the 32nd floor, the fanciest place in the hotel.  All the details were amazing, from the flowers to the appetizers to the food.  The cake. Well, the cake was amazing — and we didn’t even get to eat any of it!  (We had to get home to relieve the babysitter.)

Here are some highlights:

05 Sept Parks Wedding 008_edited Eva & Drew.  They came up from Fresno so that Drew could perform the ceremony.

05 Sept Parks Wedding 016_edited Yes, this is the CAKE.  Is that something else or WHAT?  We didn’t get to stay for cake, but Karen said it was half cheesecake, half champagne cake.  Patricia said she’d bring me a piece tomorrow.
