  NO, I did NOT buy yarn!  Really, I didn’t!  Bobcat really liked the shawl I made for myself, so she asked if I’d make her one if she bought the yarn.  I told her where to go and what kind of yarn I had used (I think I even gave her a ball band), and she went a little nuts.  I told her to get three skeins for one shawl, but she got four skeins of the reddish.  She wanted four of the blue/grey one, but they only had three, so she got a grey one to mix in if necessary.

At this point, what she wants is a very simple triangle shawl out of the reddish one and a vest out of the blue/grey.  If there’s yarn left over (there will be; she’s more of a shrimp than I am), I’ll use it to make a scarf.

  Miss Claudia came back from her Mediterranean cruise, and would you just LOOK at what she brought us?  Spices from Greece, little Italian Pinocchio’s (gee, and I thought he came from Walt Disney’s imagination!), an “evil eye” bracelet for me, and “evil eye” necklaces for the girls.  Pretty cool…
