Ready to Donate
Well, I didn’t get as many done as I wanted to, but I’m ready to make my hat delivery to UCSF. I can definitely see the differences between my first hats and my latest ones. My work definitely got better as I went along, and the ones I did after I figured out how to use dpn’s were much nicer. I’m sure my next donation, should there be one, will be much better.
I still have some pink yarn, so I’ll use it for stuff for The Preemie Project (yes, Laura, you WILL eventually get a donation from me). I also pulled down from the attic a skein of Homespun in Delft (blue & white, like the Delft china) to make some boy hats. Laura, I’ll do these all soon.
I won’t make my goal for the Charity Crafting week, but that’s OK. Considering how unmotivated I’ve been this week, right after Paul’s “angel day”, that’s fine. In the grand scheme of things, it won’t really matter if I get the stuff off this week or next or the week after that.
