Car…Almost!
Hubby almost bought a car the other night! He’s been wanting to check out the Ford Escape hybrid SUV. The other day, he got a call from a local dealership that they had one in. He checked it out and really liked it. He would have gone back and bought it (putting it on the HELOC), but when I found out it only seats five, I vetoed that idea. What’s the point? If we’re going to shell out the bucks for a new vehicle, it needs to seat at least seven. Yes, the Escape would fit the dog better, but that’s about it.
I’d actually rather get a minivan (yikes!), but I don’t think there are any hybrid ones. For us to get either an SUV or a minivan, it has to be a hybrid b/c otherwise they’re total gashogs.
