Erica’s Blog

With some of the leftover Lamb’s Pride from Sophie the 2nd, I made a felted flower pin for Thing Two’s “Teacher Sherin” (she said her favorite color was purple).  Here are a couple of pictures that should give you a sense of the size of this thing.  It didn’t seem to shrink too much, (you can still sort of see the stitches) but it’s still cute. 

I think my next Sophie will be a solid-colored one with a flower like this attached to the front.  Cute, yes?  Another one coming soon will be black with a turquoise flower like this on it.  Very dramatic.  I think it will look really cool.

Too bad my wallet is so big.  I don’t think it would even fit in a Sophie.  Oh, well…

OK, this is a little weird, and I’m clearly spending too much time on the computer, but here goes…

Do you have any idea how many women out there named Erica knit?!  This is crazy!  I did Google search on “Erica’s Blog” and got a whole bunch of stuff, lots of it other knitting blogs.  I did a search on “Erica Blog” and got a ton, too.

Very weird.  And to think my parents thought they were making up the name b/c they’d never heard it before!

Oh, gee, this sounds eerily familiar.  I hope they’re not up till 1:00 a.m. doing it like I used to be.  Ugh!
