Baby Shower - NOT!
Sis-in-law’s baby shower was today. I was kidding myself to think I’d be able to make it. Everything came crashing down on me last night, and there was no way I was emotionally up to going. I made the cake, but Velia put it together at the shower for me (I’ve learned the hard way not to put them together in advance).
Janet really liked the hats and the clown doll…I mean bunting doll for baby Hannah.
Took a LONG, Motrin-induced nap this afternoon (“seasonal” issues), then had my friend Trisha over so I wouldn’t be alone the whole time. It was great to hang out with her.
On the way to bed. Hubby’s still hacking up the occasional hairball. I could use another Motrin.
OH! BIG NEWS: I ***FINALLY*** started on the pink hats for the hospital! Yippee!
